Local Nebraska artist Weston Thomson discusses how developing versatility can power your creativity and enhance your community. You will gain key insights into the creative process, discover how to expand and adapt your artistic talents, and learn why the key to mastery is being a perpetual student.

More About Weston

Weston is a fine artist, graphic designer, public muralist, music producer, and a, recently, self published graphic novelist. He grew up surrounded by inspiring artists and mentors who pushed creative boundaries. They encouraged him to work fearlessly with different materials, tools, and art forms. Weston believes that expression is freedom, and that it is vital to healthy communities.

About the Venue

Embracing its gritty, industrial roots in Omaha, 140-year-old buildings are now being restored in Millwork Commons to meet the needs of today’s workers and residents and new buildings are being designed that will complement the neighborhood’s historic feel.

The event will be held in the Ashton building. Pop into Kros Strain Draft Works, Archetype Coffee and Sweet Magnolias Bake Shop before or after the event to treat yourself!

Virtual Option

Community members not in the local area can purchase a virtual ticket to watch Weston speak. A Zoom invite will be sent to you the week of the event.

AIGA Nebraska will follow local state/county mandates and venue rules or regulations at the time of the event.

We do ask you to please not attend if you have symptoms of COVID-19, have tested positive for COVID-19 before the event, are awaiting a COVID-19 test, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 several days leading up to the event.
