It was a stormy night on Monday, July 7th. But that didn’t stop Michael Cina from taking the stage at Slowdown. If you weren’t able to make it to the event, you missed one fantastic presentation from one of today’s top designers.

Cina has worked with brands such as Coke, Pepsi, Facebook, Disney and so many more. He shared the story of his life and everything that makes him tick; including his passion for design, his love of music and how he got to where he is today. The crowd was solid and Cina had their attention the entire evening. He even answered every question that was tossed his way.

We also got insight into his appreciation for clients that give him creative range and productive criticism, to clients who paid a lot and promised much, but failed to deliver in the end. All the while, a steady stream of his work played behind him and created quite the ambiance during the whole event.

Special thanks to our friends at Slowdown for hosting the event, to the event’s sponsor, Canvas & Cabernet, and to Michael Cina himself for making the trek to Omaha.

We hope to see you all at the next event!
