- Securely attach one copy to back of the entry (tape in upper right corner).
- Paperclip second copy of entry form to the front of the entry.

Categories are used for sorting/judging entries. Winners are not selected by category.
Designs may be entered in more than one category; separate entry forms, entry fees, and duplicate entry artwork must be submitted for each category.
AIGA Nebraska The Show competition guidelines are based on national AIGA standards. Winning competition entries incorporate unique imagery, demonstrate outstanding visual communication, display design and produce memorable graphic results. The Show will exhibit entries that best fit those standards, featuring them as the winning entries at the Award Exhibition. All other entries will be displayed at the Award Exhibition to allow for enlightening discussion and debate.

All entries must be mounted to black matte board.

Entries larger thank 20”x30” may be submitted in the form of a 8”x10” or 11”x14” photograph mounted to black matte board.
If more than one board is needed, boards must be securely and neatly fastened/hinged together (flat/folded size must remain either 15”x20 or 20”x30”).
Please do not enter one-of-a-kind artwork. Entries will be available for pickup the night of the Exhibition after 10pm, but unclaimed entries will be discarded at the end of the night.
*Packaging - 8”x10” or 11”x14” photo of packaging must be presented on black matte board. Physical packaging may also be provided (please deliver package in self-contained box with entry form and matted photograph).
**Digital Media - For Interactive/Mobile/Motion/Video/Web, please mount a color output of the landing page/screen shot mounted to a 15”x20” board. For entries that can be found online, please include the URL on the entry form found at www.nebraska.aiga.org/show20. When delivering entry, please include a DVD/CD of the content to be judged with each mounted piece and entry form.
All submitted entries to AIGA Nebraska’s The Show 20 must have been published/created between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011. It is expected that person(s) entering work into The Show 20 have obtained all appropriate legal clearances necessary to submit each entry into a public design competition. All person(s) entering work into The Show 20 acknowledge the right of AIGA Nebraska to use entries for publication and exhibition. AIGA Nebraska assumes all competition entries are original works and are the property of the entrant(person(s)), with all rights granted therein. AIGA Nebraska is not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant(person(s)).
Judges reserve the right to re-categorize entries, create new categories (if appropriate) and to withhold place award as they see fit. Winning entries receive a gold, silver or bronze award at the discretion of the judges. Awards will also be presented to Best In Show (Professional and/or Student entry), Judges Picks (Professional and/or Student entry), Best of Advertising Agency, Best of Design Firm, Best of In-House, Best of Independent Designer/Freelance, Best of Publication House, Best of Web Firm, Best of Student, and Peer Choice Award (Professional and/or Student).
AIGA Nebraska and/or Judges reserve the right to add/subtract ‘Best of’ categories as they see fit. Peer Choice Award is voted on by attendees to The Show 20 Exhibit & Award Show. Best In Show award is given out solely at the discretion of the judges, in recognition of the single finest professional and/or student entry.
All professional gold winners from AIGA Nebraska’s The Show 20 who choose to enter work into AIGA National 365 Show, will be reimbursed the cost of entry into the 365 Show by AIGA Nebraska. Send receipt for reimbursement to Director of Finance at finance@nebraska.aiga.org
